Felsenhof
Welcome to the climatic health resort of Münstertal, situated at an altitude of 524 metres in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Black Forest. Enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by gentle hills, wide meadows and traditional Black Forest farmhouses.
The Felsenhof dates back to 1870. The main house has been lovingly renovated and modernised with the aim of preserving its original character and charm. Today, it comprises two residential apartments and one holiday apartment.
The farm itself is still actively run as a horse farm.
The Holiday Apartment
Our charming holiday apartment, with approximately 130 m² of living space, offers plenty of room to settle in, relax and enjoy your stay – ideal for couples, families or small groups.
The open-plan dining and kitchen area on the upper floor, with its warm wood, exposed beams and abundant natural light, creates a welcoming atmosphere. Here, traditional Black Forest charm meets modern comfort and spaciousness.
The apartment features three separate bedrooms and a cosy bathroom with shower and WC.
The spacious 30 m² gallery offers plenty of room for relaxing, reading, yoga or simply unwinding. It features a large, comfortable sofa area, which can also be used as additional sleeping space if required.
In summer, the large terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views across the Black Forest.

The apartment combines traditional Black Forest architecture – rustic wooden beams and plenty of natural materials – with modern, spacious living. The high-quality wooden flooring and open staircase create a warm and natural atmosphere.

Location
Münstertal is located approximately 20 km south of Freiburg, at the foot of the Belchen, Münstertal’s local mountain. Due to its distinctive shape and impressive landscape, the Belchen is also known as the “King of the Black Forest.”
The historic St. Trudpert Abbey is situated just below the holiday apartment and is one of the landmarks of the Münstertal valley.
The location is also ideal for exploring the border region of Germany, France and Switzerland: Switzerland is approximately 40 km away, while France is only around 20 km away.
